Η Ιθαία Αντίοκο γεννήθηκε πριν από 14 χρόνια μέσα σε μια ψαρότρατα ανοικτά του νησιού Sant'Antioco νοτιοδυτικά της Σαρδηνίας. Οι συνθήκες της γέννησής της και η ζωή στο μικρό νησί τη στιγμάτισαν για πάντα. Παιδί-θαύμα, πνεύμα ανήσυχο, ταραγμένο, πάντα σε αναζήτηση του νέου, πάντα δεμένο με τα σμαραγδένια νερά και το άσπρο φως της Μεσογείου. Παιδί του Οδυσσέα, του Πυθέα, του Μάρκο Πόλο.
